An abolitionist is a person who fought either with words or with actions in order to "abolish" or end slavery. Read about Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass by clicking on their pictures, then post a letter to them in the blogs below. After you've completed one letter to each, your teacher will provide you with a handout detailing a small assignment you are to complete about the additional links found at the bottom of this page.
